SUPPORT : Super Get Info : Archived Release Notes : Super Get Info 1.0.8 Release Notes
This page documents all feature enhancements and bug fixes included in the Super Get Info 1.0.8 maintenance update.
Additions
Super Get Info now supports viewing and editing of Mac OS X's Finder comments. (Note that Mac OS 9-style comments are not accessible under OS X, and thus not available to Super Get Info.)
Super Get Info now has the capability to copy and paste icons, by selecting the item's icon in the same manner as for a Finder info window.
Email addresses in vcard previews are now presented as clickable mailto links.
When previewing an HTML document, the hand cursor is now shown when passing over a link to indicate that the link is clickable.
Links in HTML document previews now behave like links in a web browser, i.e. they are activated after you press and release the mouse button, instead of being activated as soon as you press the button.
Fixes
Fixed a bug where if you recursively applied permissions and the change affected the permissions of modified open info windows, it would report that to you and tell you that it had updated the windows to reflect the new permissions, but:
It actually hadn't updated the permissions. It does now.
It reported the condition for all open modified windows, whether or not they were a child of the folder the recursive operation was performed on.
After changing a file and doing the requisite FNNotify, we also send the Finder a sync event for the entity in question. This should cause the Finder to update the icon for the file in most situations.
Fixed a bug where if you had enough type and creator favorites that the list scrollbar would have been enabled, it was disabled (wrong range) when you opened the favorites config window.
The "Clear" menu item now works as expected in text fields.
