SUPPORT : Lists
Bare Bones Software maintains public mailing lists to provide interested users with forums for discussing product-related issues ( BBEdit-Talk, BBEdit-Scripting, Mailsmith-Talk, Yojimbo-Talk, TextWrangler-Talk, and Web-Authoring ), and a means to get product news and company information (BBSW-News).
This page offers general guidelines for participating on our discussion lists. Use the links at right to view the guidelines for a specific list and to subscribe/unsubscribe to that list.
You can also access searchable archives of the lists as follows:

List Instructions and Overview
Welcome to BBSW's Discussion Lists. This section of the web site allows you to easily subscribe to, unsubscribe from, and get info on our various email lists. First, read the information below, and then choose from the five Lists on the right side of this page to get started.
Bookmark this page: You may want to come back to this section of the BBSW web site to subscribe to, unsubscribe from, and get info on our various email discussion groups.
Use informative subject lines: When posting a new message to a list, try to use a meaningful subject line. For example, "Help: I can't link to .pdf files" instead of "The link tool sucks!". Also, when replying to a message from a digest, please reference the subject of the original message as opposed to simply "Re: Digest..."
Important Note: You must be a subscriber to post messages to the mailing lists. This means that you must subscribe with the email address as reported by your mailer, which may not be your common address.
Warning: Users found subscribing to these lists with bogus information or who subscribe others without their permission will be removed from the lists and reported to their system administrators. We track where requests come from and feel no guilt over trying to get spammers into as much trouble as we possibly can.
