We ask that all users read this document and look at the charter to see the acceptable uses of this mailing list.
Everyone using these lists is expected to abide by the rules in these files. We don't consider ignorance of the rules an excuse for unacceptable behavior. Please work with us to make this a fun, interesting and educational place to be.

that begins with "[admin]". Please read these messages, as they have
important information about the state of the lists and systems and
changes that might affect how you use it.

The BBEdit-Scripting list is intended for discussion of Bare Bones Software's flagship product BBEdit. Topics might include BBEdit's use as an HTML or coding editor, sharing of AppleScripts or grep patterns, questions about existing or potential product features, development of plug-ins, etc.Please see the charters below for detailed descriptions of what is and is not acceptable material for these lists.

BBEdit-Scripting@barebones.comYou must be a subscriber to the list to post to it. The list server will not recognize you as a subscriber except when you are sending mail from the account that you are subscribed with.
- Charter: What's Acceptable, What's Not
This discussion list is intended for any current or prospective users of our world-class HTML and text editor, BBEdit. Topics might include sharing specific uses and tips for HTML document or Web site creation, use of BBEdit as a coding editor, sharing of AppleScripts or grep patterns, asking questions or providing feedback about potential product features, development of plug-ins, etc.
Please also note that if you have specific questions about BBEdit itself, if you need to report a bug, or if you have any other product- related questions, you should contact support@barebones.com directly. Although we will monitor this list, and will attempt to answer all relevant postings, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to respond as rapidly as we can to direct contacts.
