Bare Bones Software today announced the release and immediate availability of of BBEdit 8.5, a significant upgrade to the award-winning HTML and text editor for the Macintosh.

With more than 160 new features and improvements, BBEdit 8.5 represents a major interface overhaul for this time-tested and widely respected product. The changes are designed to streamline navigation and ease discovery of BBEdit's powerful feature set.

BBEdit 8.5 is available at a suggested retail price of US$125. A fully functional demo version is available for download and evaluation.

Registered owners of BBEdit 8.0 thru 8.2.6 can upgrade for US$30; registered owners of BBEdit 7 and older can upgrade for US$40. TextWrangler 2.1.3 Released [June 20, 2006]

Bare Bones Software today announced the release and immediate availability of TextWrangler 2.1.3, their award-winning text editor. TextWrangler 2.1.3 includes maintenance fixes to reported issues and minor refinements to this popular, general-purpose text processing tool.

Super Get Info 1.3 Now Available [June 13, 2006]

Bare Bones Software today announced the immediate availability of Super Get Info 1.3, a Universal version now with Apple Filing Protocol (AFP) support.

Super Get Info 1.3 now allows customers to change folder and file permissions and ownership on AppleShare server volumes. This new version also includes maintenance fixes to reported issues.

Super Get Info 1.3 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or later. The update is free of charge to all registered Super Get Info customers.


Yojimbo 1.2 Update Released [June 07, 2006]

Digital River, Inc.
